New Album Coming March 2019!!!

Well, my dears, I have been officially terrible at these news updates here on the site and I heartily apologize. It’s probably a better idea just to keep up with me on the social mediums where I try to do a better job of keeping you in the loop. I just wanted to drop in to let you know that my third studio album, titled Valley of the Bones, will be making landfall on March 2nd, 2019 and I couldn’t be more excited or humbled to share it with you. The album was recorded in my beloved Asheville mountains at Sound Temple Studios, engineered by my longtime friend Adam Johnson of Soundlab Studios, co-produced by Adam and Chris Rosser, and with performances by my amazing band, Free Planet Radio and Billy Cardine. There are some appearances from incredible guest musicians including Nicky Sanders from The Steep Canyon Rangers as well.

Stay tuned for updates about its release and, as always, thank you for al the love and support you give that makes performing and recording possible for me. I really cannot wait to share this record with you. xoxox J

Hello, my lovelies! Happy spring!

First off, how about this beautiful new logo and web site as a home for all things Jane Kramer music?!

I am so grateful to the talented and patient Anna and Kate Thompson of Palindrome Creative Co. for working with me over these past few months and helping dream up and then bring to fruition a web site and package that so beautifully reflects me and my music. Plus, they're sisters and who doesn't want to work with beautifully collaborative sister-minds?

I have a busy summer ahead of me; full of gigs, travel and teaching little ones in the children's music program at the Swannanoa Gathering. In just a little over a week, my sweetheart and I fly off to Scotland where I will spend the rest of May playing a few gigs in Glasgow (w/ my pal Andy Lucas for his album release) and Aberdeen, having a session on Celtic Music Radio, and finally, participating in a songwriting workshop at Kincardine Castle taught by my mentor Mary Gauthier. I am so excited and feel so blessed to be able to travel and share my music. I'm planning on doing some street-performing in Scotland (because why not?!) and also hoping to add some last-minute gigs to my schedule while I'm there. Check back on my show listings tab soon for new dates.

Once I'm back from Scotland, I'll be rehearsing with my band (Free Planet Radio + Billy Cardine) for our hometown show at the gorgeous listening room The Altamont Theatre in Asheville on July 15. Scoop up your tickets here.

I've been writing a lot and will have a really exciting announcement to make on that front soon!

Thank you for your your beautiful support and for helping me do what I love most- making songs and sharing them with you.
